Sarah is a highly experienced hairstylist with an accomplished career spanning many years at some of New Zealand’s most well-known salons. She was a finalist in the prestigious L’Oréal Colour Trophy Awards in 2002 and went on to work as an Education Manager for Schwarzkopf for five years, delivering workshops and seminars across all aspects of hairdressing. She also managed Christchurch’s leading salon, Mod’s Hair, for a decade, further cementing her reputation in the industry.

In 2018, Sarah expanded her creative expertise by studying at the Design and Art College of Make-Up Artistry, where she was awarded Student of the Year and achieved a Level 4 Certificate in Make-Up and Special Effects.

Today, Sarah works extensively in theatre styling and production, managing teams of artists across wigs, hair, and makeup for a wide range of shows. She also travels throughout New Zealand delivering workshops for theatre professionals. Her work frequently extends into photoshoots, where she contributes not only hair and makeup but also styling, costume coordination, and overall creative direction.

A performer in her own right, Sarah has taken on numerous lead roles in theatre over the years. This dual perspective—both on stage and behind the scenes—gives her a unique and valuable understanding of performance and production.

A standout highlight of her career was touring with Elaine Paige as her Tour P.A. and dresser during the 2012 Australasian tour, and again in 2019 across New Zealand, Australia, and Ireland.

Whether on stage or behind the scenes, Sarah continues to bring creativity, expertise, and passion to every project she undertakes.
